mafo
The Plextor PX-708A (DVD-Burner) doesn't appear in the compatibility-list. I have to buy a new drive for my backups the next days and I have to use it with Retrospect in a G4 400 running Mac OS 9 and Retrocpect 4.x. Is that drive supported by Retrospect or not? Or will it be supportet in the near future? The DVD-Burner will be a built-in drive.
AmyJ
This drive is not natively supported for use with Retrospect. The latest release, Retrospect 5.1, includes and auto-configuration utility that can build a driver for must unsupported CD/DVD drives. mafo
That means that it's not sure that it works but there's a chance that it will work? Is there a demo including that utility? I want to try if it works before buying an upgrade...
