redixon Posted September 2, 2003 Report Share Posted September 2, 2003 I have Multi Server 6.5 for Windows. I back up a few Mac machines which are running the 4.2 client. One of the machines might possibly be upgraded to OS X. Will the 4.2 client run on OS X? If not, and I have an unlimited client version of Retrospect for Windows, is there a cost to upgrade the client to an OS X compatible version? natew Posted September 3, 2003 Report Share Posted September 3, 2003 Hi Client licensing is much different than it was in the days of Retrospect 4.2. You have multiserver so you can backup as many clients as you like regardless of OS. Just download and install the OSX client and log it in.
