NYcyclist
I have, a few days ago, updated Retrospect to version 5.1 for my Mac. I have tried to back up my accounts several times, following the directions very carefully. I continue to get the following script whenever I backup. "this disc is a member of a Retrospect Backup Set. The data on this disc is not accessible from the finder but Retrospect will be able to access it." Is this the back up? Am I doing something wrong? How do I access the information,(my accounts) that I am looking for, using retrospect? Please, somebody straighen me out-before I toss this program in the trash and go back to using Toast. These discs are not cheap, and I have already wasted 6 of them. Thanks RNT
natew
Hi You will not be able to see what you backed up by clicking on the CD. All of the data on the disk is in Retrospect format. You can see the contents of your backup set by opening the Reports tab in Retrospect. Nate
