natew
Hi It is a bit of a hack but you can go to the properties of your backup set and set all of the members up to the one you want to verify as missing. Then do the verify. After the verify is done, set all the tapes found again Nate
ecrm
Ah, that was my guestimation as well, but with recent tape problems abounding I was afraid to. Thanks
natew
Hi setting a member missing/or found is really simple to undo and you are not at risk of permanently "losing" the member. Nate
ecrm
In 6.5 I have to remove the tape(s) marked missing out of the library or it uses them anyway. Once I do that it will scan the library even if I just ran a scan library prior =/ weird. Maybe I'm missing it but can you schedule verify's and run them "unattended" ie. if a tape is not found it will just proceed and not fail the tape request timeout?
