RBoisvert
Maybe someone out there is having the same problems? I have a Dell server with a T-120/Sony tape library. Seems when I get into Retrospect 6.5 with the latest drivers installed it ejects the tape cartridge. This is a new install, so there's no track records right now. When getting into Retrospect it shutdown Remote Storage. When I first get into Retrospect I do see the tapes, then after a few minutes they are gone because the library spit them out. This is getting fustrating! All and any ideas are welcome. Thanks Rene
natew
Hi Make sure to disable the windows drivers for both the tape drive and the loader in the device manager. Also make sure that there are no drivers from other backup software still installed. Nate
RBoisvert
Thanks for help, I've called Retrospect Tech and they suggested making sure if there are cleaning tapes to mark them as such. I went back and looked at the library and marked my #8 tape as a cleaning tape. So far so good. It hasn't spit out the whole library cart. Cheers,
