jmuzerolle
I know Dantz doesn't support it, but has anyone got this to work? My problem is Retrospect won't create a file backup set larger than 2GB. I have confirmed that my volume on the XRAID is HFS+ so I don't know why this is happening. Thanks to all who responds... jeff
natew
Hi I've never tried this but can you set up the local machine as an FTP server and do an internet backup to the 127.0.0.1 address? That will break up the backup files into smaller pieces. Nate
icmb
Is use a non apple RAID, but had the 2Gb problem I found the 2Gb ceiling has gone from OS10.2.6 and above. Prior to that the OS stopped at 2Gb. However the OS still cannot see disks properly over 1Tb, so my raid is partitioned to 600Gb blocks and retrospect chooses between four of these at will.
