Email notification problem

I just happened to have a quick look at our retrospect server and noticed that Retrospect had shown an error box 'Catalog File out of sync with Backup Set...', so I pressed OK to let it carry on.

 

Then I received an email from Retrospect telling me about the problem.

 

The problem actually occurred on 23rd June! But it wouldn't tell me about the problem until I pressed OK on the error dialog box...

 

Surely the point of the email notifications is to trigger me to go and look at the server, not vice versa...

(Thankfully our backups to disk were still continuing, so we weren't totally unprotected, but it's still not nice)
