tmerrick Posted June 26, 2003 Report Share Posted June 26, 2003 We just installed v6.5 on our windows server and we installed the clients on all of our machines. All is well on the PCs but the Macs running OSX dont get backed up at night. We just tested and if the Mac is in sleep mode it doesnt wake up when the server reaches out to back it up. Mayoff Posted June 26, 2003 Report Share Posted June 26, 2003 The Retrospect Client for Macintosh does not support wake on lan or energy saver modes. You would need to make sure the client is awake before the backup starts. versiontracker.com may have some shareware to wake up the client at a specific time.
