The errors are similiar to the following: Can't use Open File Backup option for WINNT on SERVER, error -1021 (unknown) Any idea on what causes this? Or perhaps just some advice on making the open file backups run smoother (we occasionally get "disk inactivity threshold not met" messages as well). pabbott Posted June 3, 2003 Author Report Share Posted June 3, 2003 Sorry for the late reply. The clients are Windows 2000 Servers. Checking them this morning I noticed that the Retrospect Helper service was not running on either of them (it was set to Automatic).
