jelenko
I use Retrospect only on my home computer [which mainly functions as my home office computer]. I.e., no backup of multiple computers over a network. Is there any feature of 6.5 that would benefit my type of use? In reading the summary, it doesn't sound like it, but if there is, I'd like to know. Thanks
Mayoff
Improved Disaster Recovery support as well as support for more CD-R devices using our new Track at Once drivers. Backup set creation wizard. We also improved support for clients under Windows 98 with multiple NIC Cards.
jelenko
Is there documentation I could read on the improved Disaster Recovery? [i don't see any details in the what I've seen on the site so far] Also, how about having more than 1 snapshot to choose from when restoring? Is this feature already available in the pro version? Mayoff
Professional 6.0 and higher users can select other snapshots when doing a disaster recovery. 6.5 works better with RAID configurations as well as configurations that have changed the total number of disk partitions since the backup. 6.5 Disaster Recovery Add-on also includes client disaster recovery.
