zaccone
I just installed Retrospect desktop (driver update 3.4.103) on a new dual 1.42 GHz G4. I am trying to do a complete backup my hard drive onto an external firewire drive using a file backup. I am running Mac OS X 10.2.4. I begin by creating a new backup set. After scanning all the files on the drive, privileges, and icons, Retrospect crashes. It doesn't look like it has copied any files to my backup yet. /Library/Logs/CrashReporter/RetroRun.crash.log shows Exception: EXC_BAD_ACCESS (0x0001) Codes: KERN_INVALID_ADDRESS (0x0001) at 0x001eb694 /Library/Logs/CrashReporter/Retrospect.crash.log shows Exception: EXC_BAD_ACCESS (0x0001) Codes: KERN_INVALID_ADDRESS (0x0001) at 0x02700000 Retrospect worked fine on my previous machine (dual 1 GHz G4). Is it not compatible with this new model?
