dfigucio
Even though i have the option selected in my Backup Server script, Snapshots are not being saved, as I constantly get a "Snapshot not saved' error whenver I try to access a snapshot. Why would this be so?
Mayoff
When doing the backup, do any errors appear in the operations log. Does this happen with multiple backup sets? Corruption to a catalog file might cause this. Does the "add snapshot" option work?
dfigucio
Yes! I am getting a volume full message in the log - even though there is 20Gb of available disk space. Thanks for pointing that out. I was expecting Retrospect to at least pop up a dialog box. Dumb idea when I think about it. Now - why do I get a volume full message? d. AmyJ
Go to Configure > Backup Sets and 'Configure' your backup set. On the Summary tab, the location of the catalog file will be listed - make sure you saved it to the correct drive. Check the format of the destination volume - it must be formatted as HFS+ (Extended format) to allow full use of available space.
dfigucio
Ahhh! The paths had some weird characters in them. When I re-added the stroage sets, I had the right paths, and I managed to be able to save snapshots again... Strange... but thanks!!! d.
