lchop
before I purchased retrospect express 5.6, I spoke to someone in tech support and asked how I could do a full system restore if I ever have to reformat my hard drive. They told me that with version 6.0 I could create a disaster recovery CD that would allow me to do a full restore without having to reinstall Windows first, and that with retrospect express 5.6 I would have to reinstall Windows XP, then reinstall retrospect express in order to do the restore. However, I'm seeing some discussions here about creating a disaster recovery CD with retrospect express 5.6 and Windows XP. So can I create a disaster recovery CD-ROM with retrospect express version 5.6 that will let me do a restore after reformatting without reinstalling Windows XP and retrospect express first? Mayoff
The bootable CD does work with 5.6, but we have made a large number of bug fixes and improvements to make 6.0: 1) work better when booted from a CD 2) work faster when booted from a CD
