silencefiction
Hi. I cannot get Retrospect Express 5 to work with my APS Archive Python 28388-xxx drive. Is my drive supported by Retrospect? Thanks... ...marc.
Mayoff
Retrospect Express does not support tape drives. You need the Desktop/Professional version or higher.
silencefiction
Hmmm... That's confusing. Why does it offer 'tape' as an alternative for sources and destinations if it does not support them? Thanks... ...marc.
Mayoff
Tape is never offered as a source in any version of Retrospect (unless you are doing a backup set transfer). In some OEM version of Retrospect Express a very limited number of tape drives have been supported in the past, but as a general rule tape is not supported in Express, and never SCSI tape.
