Guest
Hello, In the last couple of weeks, something unusual has begun to happen everytime I launch Retrospect: a dialog box comes up and tells me this: "Your Macintosh clock/calendar appears to be wrong. Please confirm the date and time:" Then it lists the correct date and day of week, with the time about a minute or two different than what my system clock would be showing. There are options to click "Quit" or "Set Clock". I usually hit "Set Clock" and then can be on my way to do my normal back up. This happens every single time I launch Retrospect. Any idea why this would suddenly happen? I have installed nothing new recently. My specs: Restropect 4.1 Mac OS 8.5.1 Thanks in advance for your help. Mayoff
This has been covered in the forum several times. Dantz is aware of this problem and we are going to release a patch in the near future. Keep an eye on the website for more info. Thanks
Mayoff
Hello, Dantz now has an update that fixes the "Expiration" problem that results in the dialog box asking users to reset the clock during launch. The update can be found at: ftp://ftp.dantz.com/pub/updates/retro_clock_update.hqx This update should work for Retrospect 4.0 and 4.1 users.
