JPSanborn
About half way through a OneTouch backup, my firewall notifies me that some dantz.exe program is trying to gain access to the internet. When I respond to the firewall by allowing the access, the backup pauses for a few seconds, presumably while internet connection is being made, than completes the backup. Is this normal and, if so, why does the OneTouch program need to connect with the internet to complete? Thanks.
Mayoff
Actually this is a known problem outlined in our Knowledgebase that describes a workaround. This may be fixed in 6.0, but I can't remember for use. (Retrospect 6.0 won't work with the OneTouch button at this time anway) Read this: Why is Retrospect accessing my Firewall?
