rricard
Gents, Tired of backing up on CD-RW because of the speed, I'm thinking of buying a firewire external drive. I am told that I will not be able to do incremental backups on such a drive. True? René
IrenaS
False! You have the option of backing up to a file backup set stored on the external drive, to which you can do incremental backups as you would to any other medium. There's another option for backing up to hard drives though: the Duplicate. This method keeps your files in an accessible format (as opposed to compressed into Retrospect format), but doesn't save older versions of files. There's also a knowledgebase entry that you may find helpful: search here for "duplicate". Best regards, Irena Solomon Dantz Tech Support
