thallstd
Server: XP running Retro 7.7.341 Client: Mac-Mini OSX 10.6 running retro 6.3.029 If the machine is asleep it won't wake up and results in a -530 error (Client not found) in the backup log. If I manually wake the machine up then rerun the script it is found and backed up fine. I was locating this client originally via machine name but changed to use direct IP address. Same problem. On the server's client properties, "Enable Wake-on-Lan" option is checked. On the Mac-Mini, the Energy Saver pref for "Wake for network access" is checked. I haven't yet tried setting the Computer Sleep pref on the client to Never, which I assume will fix this. Hoping for another tip that might resolve it. I know this isn't typical behavior because my old G4 would wake up and get copied. Both machines have been rebooted several times. This has been going on since activating my Mac Mini about a week ago. Any ideas greatly appreciated.
Mayoff
Are you using the required proactive backup script type instead of a normal backup script?
