shaiss
I have a website example.com that I want to backup the files nightly. RS does a great job backing up local file shares. But how bought a remote linux web server? The server has SSH & FTP, so what would be the best way to do this? Were talking about maybe 50mb website at most that has changes maybe once a month. So what would be the RS method to doing this?
posadzka
Only SSH and FTP? Then you can't backup it with Retrospect "Professional"
shaiss
What about with RS Multi-Server?
Lennart_T
Retrospect (any version) needs TCP and UDP ports 497. Can you create a secure VPN connection to the web server? That should work.
