dstranathan
Can anyone clarify exactly what Tags are? Tags are not mentioned in the Getting Started Guide. The Tags tab is located in the Sources pane. Click on a Source and you will see a tab at the bottom details pane (next to Options and Summary tabs). At first glance I thought Tags were simple meta-data notes fields for keeping human-readable info such as keywords, etc. But I think I was mistaken. I added a couple Tags to a Source to test. The Tags show up in a list, each with its own check box - as if each Tag can be independently enabled or disabled for some purpose. What are Tags? How do you guys use Tags for your Sources? Mayoff
Tags allow you to group sources together so they can all get backed up based on a common attribute (or tag). If you create a tag for a department, then all clients in that department can be backed up together.
