bobsch Posted February 16, 2010 Report Share Posted February 16, 2010 I have updated a client to 7.7 from 7.6 and at the server there was a complaint because of the old license, so I purchased a license pack for 7.7 clients and completely uninstalled all client software. I then re-installed the 7.7 client. Now I am trying to do a backup of the client to a NAS drive. I get a message: "Preparing for Open File Backup..." and nothing else happens. It's been 25 minutes and all I see is the "preparing" message and no disk activity. The one thing that bothers me is that I was never prompted for a license for the client. I need help!
