jmdavidson
Retrolaunch service (Retrospect Launcher) runs all the time in my installation of Retrospect 7.7.023 x64. That precludes loading the update 7.7.208 unless the service is stopped. It will not stop, stating "no authority" to stop it. Is Retrolaunch service supposed to run all the time or only when Retrospect is actually launching. Do I have a faulty install and what should I do. Someone in EMC should know this. Mayoff
Try going to the task manager and kill the retrorun.exe process. The installer should run after that. We do have a bug for this.
Mayoff
Engineering teams are reporting that this problem is fixed in our next release.
Ramon88
Thanks Robin, are you by any chance able to tell us an estimated eta for the next release?
Mayoff
I do not know the timing yet. It will happen when we complete the localization process to get 7.7 into the other languages.
