JA Posted December 9, 2009 Report Share Posted December 9, 2009 Been using Retrospect Express on my Compaq (Win XP)for several years. Daily backups to and external HD and it has saved my bacon many times restoring damaged & lost (deleted) files. The old girl went "toes up" this morning and I bought a new HP w/Win 7. When I tried to install Express 6.5 the computer warned me there were compatilbilty issues w/the software. I tried this sight and couldn't figure out what to do so I installed it anyway. The program runs but it says it can't find some sort of catalog file on the external HD. I'm not a computer guy and I'm at a loss at what to do.
