canoe
hi everyone running 7.6.111 on SBS2k3 SP2. every night we get a large number of errors in the log that look like: File "K:\retrospect backups\night copy\Profiles\SD\Recent\Base Plan.lnk": cannot write, error -1132 (file creation error on destination volume) we get some of these errors for each of the profiles that retrospect duplicates yet we can log in as the same user that retrospect runs as, and copy and paste the same file in explorer without complaint the script is doing a duplicate from one internal HD to another internal HD so i figured that since the shortcut is not valid on the server, i should try to set the script to exclude files whose name ends in .lnk but this exclusion doesn't work and we continue to get the errors. how does one tell retrospect to skip a shortcut, ie skip *.lnk ?? thank you Peter
Mayoff
What exactly does the selector say? Does it work when you use the check selector option? I would use file name does end with .lnk
