However, I have a standalone Macbook Pro and find that just installing the engine and the "EMC Retrospect 8 Management Console" is all that seems to be necessary. From this in applications, when I run Retrospect it seems to allow me to configure different backups without problem. Am I correct in that I don't also need to run the Client Install for OSX in the Client Installers. There doesn't seem to be a need for this from what I can see.
