Paul D. Nunn Posted November 20, 2009 Report Share Posted November 20, 2009 (edited) I recently purchased EMC Retrospect Express and upgraded to Version 7.6.123. Retro did a full initial duplicate of my C:\ drive and the other partitions without any trouble. But since then it refuses to backup the C:\ drive and instead returns the error message: "Scanning incomplete, error -1001 (unknown Windows OS error). Execution stopped by operator". Hence, I have not been able to make a backup of the C:\ drive since I made the initial clone. I formatted the new hard drive that I installed on my Sony laptop and have even CHKDSK /f it, so I know the drive is fine. I would appreciate any help I can get on this for I would love to be able to backup my C:\ drive. Note: The other partitions backup without any problems...
