rjuse
I purchased this package to backup our company SNAP Server. I figured this would handle great since our env here is a Mac Lan. What I noticed is that when the retrospect automated script runs at 10PM, it takes forever to complete sometimes 4 days. Which then runs into the other schedule backups for Tues-Wednes all the way up until Friday. Any suggestions and or comments would be great. This is what I want to do. Backup a 80Gb SNAP server using retrospect. The appleshares are mapped to this workstation Now automate the backup Monday thru Friday. Without anyone being there. Thanks.. Mayoff
Are you using Retrospect for Macintosh or Retrospect for Windows? How many MB/Min do you actually get (see the operations log).
rjuse
I am using retrospect 5.0 for Mac's, and are getting ******* per min. Which in turns translates to 1.2gb an hour, is this correct? I just want the backup to complete before the next schedule backup which is a 10PM. AmyJ
What kind of device are you backing up to? What kind of files are these? Standard office documents? Graphics? Lots of small files? How many files (approximately)? What kind of Macintosh? What OS?
