raphaelKONG
On my retrospect V6.5 multiserver, I backup the main files servers. It is a NAS with roughly 500Go files. The are many files. The NAS and the backup server are connected on 100mb/s network. The full backup takes more that 1 day to complete ! I think it is really huge, and I wonder how I can improve this. I have a library with 2 LTO2 drives but I can t backup in the same time 2 folders of the same server in 2 separate backupset, or by using drive mounted using CIFS ... Both server are under W2K3 US SP1. Thx for your feedback. Edited August 7, 2009 by Guest

Ramon88
That isn't too bad for a 100Mbit network. If you need more speed upgrade your network to Gigabit. Also note most NAS performance isn't stellar. Edited August 11, 2009 by Guest typo
