dboroughs
I am using my Disaster Recovery CD after replacing a failed hard drive. When booting for the first time with the new HD and the boot disk in place, it seems to be initializing various devices, and then suddenly stops at a DR-DOS A prompt. I have no idea what to do at this point. Some of the text on the screen that I can see above the A:\> prompt includes: "no FAT32 volumes found, exiting . . . " "Usage: ntfsread.exe [-u]" "USB support successfully initialized" "No NTFS Volumes Found, exiting" "Drive D: Driver 'MSCD001' unit 0" "Completed codepage select function" Any ideas? Thanks. safreeds
Are you certain the new disk you have installed in the machine is formatted as NTFS and can be seen in the bios?
