HarryP Posted July 19, 2009 Report Share Posted July 19, 2009 Running 7.6 on Vista home premium I thought I had set three filters that would exclude 1) any directory named Temp 2) any directory named Temporary Internet Files 3) any file or directory with `cache' in its name None of that happened when I ran the backup. Under the filter that begins: include everything exclude: I had + Names excactly matching Temp + Names exactlhy matching Temporary Internet Files + name matches pattern cache Apparently I do not understand how this is supposed to work. See screen shot of exclude dialog here: http://www.jtan.com/~reader/vu2/disp.cgi It would really be handy if the exclusions were available to edit by hand... maybe they are.
