Backing up to DVD's 8.1 build 148

Recommended Posts

I have used Retrospect to backup for years.

I am running 8.1 build 148 on a imac 2.66 Core 2 Duo running 10.5.7

I cannot back up to CD or DVD. The optical drive is recognized and it is verified but when running a backup it blinks choose media, I pop in the disk, the finder cd dialog box pops up and it never shows up in the program. I have changed the retro.ini file, I have tried turning off and on the engine and it still will not work. I am at a loss here. What to I need to do to fix this. I can backup to HD just fine but I need the DVD option to work.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Jill
