geohei
Hi. I use 2 members for a specific backup set. I primarily use member 1, and rarely member 2. Now I increased the size of member 1, and would like to remove member 2. However the Remove button is ghosted. How can I remove this member 2 from the backup set? Thanks,
Mayoff
Try a catalog rebuild of the 1st member, but never point Retrospect to the 2nd member during the rebuild process.
geohei
Hi. Thanks for the reply. Can you confirm that the recreate action of a Disk Backup Set does NOT read the entire Disk Backup Set (#200 GB) if the "Save source Snapshots for restore" option was enabled during backup operation? Thanks! Regards,
Mayoff
Catalog rebuild must read every file and folder from the disk in order to perform a rebuild.
geohei
Ok. Thanks for the answer!
geohei
Tried it. Seems that it worked. Retrospect only asked "All disks" or "Last disk". Since there was only one member desired, I selected "last disk". Thanks for the help!
