Mayoff
What version of Retrospect are you using? Why type of media set is this? What operating system? Is this a local backup or a client backup? What do you see when you click Preview in the Backup Assistant summary?
filmul
thank you Robin for your answer the points are Retrospect 8.0 (8.0.608.1) Media set LTO-4 OS 10.5.6 it's a local back up I must add I've launched another backup from only the volume SONNET who was successfull. I just suppose the difference between the elements number of the source (5 301) and files number (5 093) is due to the folders. Even so the smaller size of the backup is due to the blocks size of the source disk (802 GB versus 719 on the tape)
