wsu Posted April 15, 2009 Report Share Posted April 15, 2009 I am testing Retrospect 8.0.608.1. the tape system is Tandberg Data Magnum 1x7 Autoloader with Apple Dual channel Ultra320 SCSI card. When I load a tape into the drive, its status is "Wrong version". no barcode shown. However the tapes in the library slots have the barcode showing like [A00005]A00005. But it shows "[A00005] CCD Backup set A" in the Retrospect 6.1. Retrospect 6.1 works well. The XServer is Intel-based with OS 10.5.6. Any help is appreciated.
