Ayrton
Hello, When I add a source, the client name is [iMac]Fournil but the real name on the mac is [iMac]Production. The name of this Mac is the same since a long time ([iMac]Production). The retrospect client set the client name to [iMac]Fournil. How can I do to correct this problem ? Thanks, Ayrton. Mayoff
Are you sure you are looking at the right computer? Check the IP addresses with the Source screen. The default client name is your client computer name.

CallMeDave
The retrospect client set the client name to [iMac]Fournil. The Retrospect Client name is set by the installer when it (the installer) is run the first time. You are given the choice of a name (as Robin says, the computer name) that you must either confirm or modify. In other words, the installer does not set the name to anything without user interaction. Some history about what you have done would be helpful here. What version of the Client software did you install? When did you install it? You can also confirm the Retrospect Client name from the Retrospect Client application. And you can also change the name back to whatever you'd prefer from the console application.
