hobson
Hi - I just updated to Retrospect 8 yesterday and added sources, re-created scripts, etc. I've noticed that some of the clients show subvolumes and some don't. On the ones that don't. I've deleted and re-added them. I've updated the client software to v6.3.019. I've rebooted the client. Nothing seems to give me the ability to show sub-volumes. One client in question is running OS X Server 10.4.11 with client software v6.3.019. Is this a bug or an incompatibility? Thanks.
Mayoff
I have not see this happen. Do you get a down arrow in the sources screen? What do you see in the Options tab of the source?
hobson
No - I do not get a down arrow in the Sources screen. Then when I got to the options tab, I don't see any volumes listed. So I reboot the client, reboot the server, have the server rescan the Source but I still see no volume information. Again, this is only for some clients/sources - not all
Mayoff
Do you see the main hard disk when using the backup assistant? What edition of Retrospect is this? Try to temporarily remove the config80.dat and config80.bak file from the Retrospect Application Support folder (stop the engine first) and then try running Retrospect again. Do you see the same problem for those computers?
