inzirillo Posted April 3, 2009 Report Share Posted April 3, 2009 This morning I can see that retrospect engine is running on my Xserve but I can't connect from Retrospect Monitor, nor locally, nor remotely. So I have quit the retro Engine. I can't see any crash log related to retro Engine on my System. In fact the last scheduled backup has not be done at all, last night. I can't see any report or any errors related to this script in the Retrospect monitor More about this script : Sources : My current hard disk and all the computers on the local network (Mac OS X , Mac OS X Server, Windows XP, Vista, Server 2003) Media Set : Disk (NAS with iscsi connexion) Rules : All files except Cache Files Schedule : Start : 10 PM Repeat : weekly Every 1 week on M,T,W,T,F Stop when done. Options : Backup : Media verification (No byte-by-byte client file comparaison) - Datac compression (in software) Backup/Matching : Match source files against the MediaSet - Don't add duplicate files to the MediaSet Source : Source/Mac : Use attribute mod. date when matcvhing - Set source volume's backup time Source/Windows : Backup System State - Backup open files - Protect Multi-vol Datasets - BU file security info from servers - BU folder sec info from servers - BU folder sec info from workst.
