gugus2000
I am running WindowsXP within VMWare Fusion. Windows shares can be mounted via Samba from the Mac side. Now i want to back up Windows but I cannot get Retrospect to recognize the VMWare network adaptors. I found a topic from some days ago dealing with multiple NICs but in my case the solution given there did not help. In Retrospect->Preferences->Network I can only add 127.0.0.1 as a new connection. Is this a bug? Am I just not see how to do it? Or is it not possible at all? My VMWare virtual disk is around 60GB and most of the segments are constantly modified thus each Retrospect run eats another 60GB. Thanks for any help
Mayoff
To backup VMWare on the same computer as the Retrospect Engine, you should install the Retrospect Client software inside VMWare and then add that client by IP address if it doesn't automatically display in the source>clients window.
