davert
The title says it all. No optical drive / DVD support even after fixing retro.ini as in the instructions. I tried an external DVD drive and a freshly reformatted DVD just to make sure. It shows the drive but will now acknowledge the DVD itself. (DVD+RW). Mayoff
What version are you using? Are you using 8.0? If so, I will move this post to the 8.0 section.
davert
Yes, 8.0 Mac. Sorry, thought that WAS the 8.0 section.
Mayoff
What do you see under devices? Is a driver loading for your device?
davert
With green icons on the right of each one, IDE-DVD DVDRW8651 and SONY DVD RW DW-D150A. Status is blank for each. Summary shows "Optical" with vendor, product, etc. Erase and Eject are blank. Rescan brings the same display.
