inzirillo
Here a screen copy that demonstrate this bug. I'm using exactly the same Library and the same kind of Tape (AIT5) My first Tape Mediaset B, my tape are evaluated with a total space of 387.6 GB My second Tape Mediaset C, my tape are evaluate with a total space of 1162.7 GB The only difference is about the password that I have set for the Tape MediaSet C. This can be the reason of my problem ? By the way, how to modify a tape mediaset to add a password ?
Mayoff
I will watch the screencast items after IT opens up the network. Thank you! Once you create a media set, you can not change or update password info. You must select encryption types when the set is being created. Mayoff
One other note. Tape capacity is never exact. Every tape will have a different capacity and "free space" on a tape is always estimated. It is impossible to know how much free space exists on a tape. All tape capacities are estimated because hardware does not report free tape space. inzirillo
I can understand for free space but it strange to get a different result for taotal space with the same tape inside the same library.
