johnmay
Will Retrospect 8 eventually support backing up OS X 10.2 and/or OS 9 clients? If so, any approximate ETA? - John
Mayoff
I don't know about OS 9. I think we should try to support 10.2.8 clients, but it is all about testing resources. Too many OS's and not enough time to test everything.
johnmay
So does that mean you *will* be supporting 10.2 clients eventually? If OS 9 isn't going to be supported, then I guess 10.2 doesn't really matter, as we'll have to run 6.1 still to back up the OS 9 clients. Honestly, OS 9 support has been a major factor keeping us using Retrospect. If we have to use 6.1 to backup said clients, we'll definitely be considering other solutions moving forward. - John
