MARKJANDERSON
The current system requirements indicate that the backup component requires a Macintosh with 2GB of RAM, is this still true or was this only for the BETA (in order to be safe). I am currently running Retrospect Desktop on my Mac mini G4 1.33Ghz with 512MB of RAM and would like to eventually upgrade to Retrospect Desktop 8.0 in order to get the "Disk Grooming" feature (among other things). The system requirements for Desktop 6.1 indicate 128MB of RAM minimum (256MB RAM recommended), so does version 8.0 really require 16 times (yikes!) the amount of RAM that the 6.1 version of Retrospect required? - Mark
