Sandy Curr
I have an Iomega NDHD320N network drive connected to a Netgear router and a Dell-P4 running XP SP3 and Retrospect Express HD 2.5. The backup was made ubder 2.0 but this still had the same problem. On attempting a restore after a hard total hard disk failure & restoring XP etc I find that no restore point is can be located. Looking at the drive a directory structure is found containing 90 .rdb files under \Retrospect Restore Points\Retrospect\DELL-P4\1-DELL-P4 together with 2 smaller .rdb's and execinfo.dat There is also a .rbc file in a higher level Please can anyone help? Mayoff
Those names don't sound like the default Restore Point names used by Express HD. Are you sure you didn't have Retrospect or Retrospect Express installed at one point? You may need to download and install a trial version of Retrospect 7.6 and do your restore with that.
