sprime1
I've got "Duplicate - Replace if source is newer" Script setup that works okay. I've got 600 gigs of information being backed up, but everytime i run the script, it takes about 12 hours to complete.... like it is overwriting every file or something. Well, i've had it set up before where i had "Backup" scripts, but when i exchanged my external hard drives (i like to have 1 drive backing up, and 1 drive as a spare that i take with me, and i'll alternate them every few days), i had to create multiple scripts for each external. Is there any way to have only 1 Backup script that can work on both externals without having to change scripts every time i exchange the drives? Mayoff
Setup a single script using 2 destinations, each scheduled to use a specific drive on specific days.
sprime1
Ok.... both drives are being recognized as the same drive letter (P:). Should i change it to where they are different drive letters? That may be my original problem as well.
Mayoff
Retrospect won't care. You just need to point each backup set (when creating it) to the drive you want it to use.
