shekwebb Posted October 21, 2008 Report Share Posted October 21, 2008 Hi, I am wondering about best practices with Retrospect. Currently I backup to a SAN, grooming for 50 days. I take a weekly backup to tape. Is it a good idea to backup the SAN to tape as well. If so, how would you restore the SAN backup since this is already in the rdp file format? How would restropect restore from a snapshot of a backup of a backup?
