mr steve
Hello, I am running Retrospect client 6.5 on Windows Server 2003 and have a problem installing the Linux client on three Debian machines. The installer from the CD seems to give errors as it is trying to link to places that don't exits. If I try to use "apt-get" I am told that the package does not exist and it may have been removed or obsoleted! Can anyone help me get the client installed on these machines - none are running a GUI and I'm not brilliant with Linux at the command line! Thanks! Mayoff
Debian is not a supported version using the standard installer. You should look at the Debian forum thread. http://forums.dantz.com/showtopic.php?tid/7919/
Richy_Boy
In short, if you run a 64-bit Debian/Ubuntu Server then the installer doesn't work. .. unless someone can explain how it's done? (Tried using Alien to convert the RPM) Rich
