adam3423 Posted October 12, 2008 Report Share Posted October 12, 2008 I have a new laptop running vista. I set up a home network with a WD MyBook World edition wireless external hard drive. It came with EMC Retrospect Express HD. I installed this and am trying to set up the backup function. At first, all buttons including setup were greyed out for almost an hour. Now I get to varying stages of the setup process and clicking the next button doesn't do anything. It also takes an exorbitant amount of time to load up. I've been at it for a couple of hours and am pretty frustrated. Is this a compatability issue with vista? I have uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times with reboots.
