ctb2
I have a windows file share I'd like to use as a volume for a backup set, but I can't access it with Retrospect 7.6. I know the firewall/share/login is set up correctly because I can map the drive on the same machine with Windows Explorer. When I try to access this volume with Retrospect I get can error 1017 insufficient permissions error. Any idea why this might happen? ctb2
Thanks Mayoff. Manually specifying the user to use in Configure-preferences was the step that did it. I had it set before to run as the user that was currently running Retrospect.
