skylarking_1 Posted August 7, 2008 Report Share Posted August 7, 2008 Is it possible to have a SQL Agent running on a Windows 2003 server that will backup to an OS X 10.4.11 server running Retrospect Server 6.1.230? Haven't had to back up a SQL database before. It's Microsoft SQL Express 2005...I have 7.6.106 client running on the Win 2003 server, but don't see any option to handle SQL, is it an add-on? I am also wondering if it is the case that the SQL agent will only work with a Windows based Retrospect setup... thanks sl Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Mayoff Posted August 7, 2008 Report Share Posted August 7, 2008 Retrospect for Macintosh does not support the backup of Windows Server operating systems or the backup of open files including SQL.
