jon_m_d
Is it possible to run unattended backups using Retrospect Express by starting the scripts from the Win2K Task Scheduler rather than starting them from Retrospect Launcher? I would like to run my backup, then run shutdown.exe (from the Win2K Pro Resource Kit) to shut down the PC. Another angle to accomplish the same objective: Is it possible to start shutdown.exe from a Retrospect backup script? If so, you can program a delay into the executable to allow Retrospect to quit, it would just have to be one of the last items to run in the script. Any input would be greatly appreciated. lv2ski
The Launcher is what handles running Retrospect unattendedly. You may be able to create a VBS script that does what you wish. For more about external scripting refer to page 192 of the user manual.
